Kebab Curry recipe (kababs curry)
I have posted many recipes of kebabs made from chicken pieces. But today we are introducing you to a new taste. In this, kebabs made of chicken pieces are made into a spicy curry. Ingredients for Kebab
Chicken 500 grams (make minced)
Ginger-garlic paste 01 tsp
Lemon juice 01 tsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as required
Rice flour 1/2 cup
Olive oil for frying
Ingredients for Kebab Curry
Onion 01 medium (chopped)
Green chili 02 (chopped)
Garlic cloves 6-7 (finely chopped)
Curd 01 cup
kasuri methi 02 tbsp
Ginger 02 inches piece (finely chopped)
Tomato puree 1/2 cup or use finely chopped tomatoes.
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder 01 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Olive oil 02 tbsp
Coriander Leave 02tbsp (chopped for garnishing)
Salt to taste
How to make kebab
- Firstly, in a large bowl add chicken (finely chopped), red chili powder, turmeric, tablespoon ginger-garlic paste, salt, lemon juice as mentioned above and mix well.
- Let the mixture rest for about two hours.
- Now add some rice flour to it, mix well and make kebabs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the kebabs till they turn light brown in color from both sides.
- Keep the fried kebabs aside.
How to make kebab curry
- Put oil in a deep bottom pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add chopped onion and fry it, fry it till it becomes brown transparent.
- Add chopped garlic, finely chopped ginger, and green chili to it and fry for a while.
- Now add tomato puree to it and mix well. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, and salt to it and fry till oil appears on the sides.
- Now add the cooked kebab pieces to this mixture and fry for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add curd and cooked for 2 minutes, now add water to it and cover the pan with a lid, cook it for a few minutes.
- Now let the gravy thicken and mix well in the kebabs, remove the lid once the consistency is achieved.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or jeera rice. Read also.
