Instant Peda recipe. Kesar Peda is a popular Diwali sweet recipe in India, which is made in Diwali or other special festivals. It takes a long time to make this dessert in the traditional way, but the Instant Kesar Peda recipe is a tasty and soft and is more preferred. In this sweet recipe, we have used butter, instant dry milk powder and milkmaid three ingredients. Saffron and green cardamom have been used to make it delicious.

Ingredients for Instant Kesar Peda

Unsalted butter or ghee               02 tbsp

Condensed milk (milkmaid )        01 tin

Milk Powder                                      01 big cup

Milk                                                       01small bowl (add saffron)

Pistachio                                              7-10 (for garnish)

Green cardamom                            4-5 (crushed)

How to make Instant Kesar peda recipe

  • First heat the ghee/butter in a thick-bottomed nonstick pan, when the ghee melts.
  •  So add milk powder and condensed milk to it.
  • Turn down the heat and mix well.
  • Mix the milk powder well, so that there are no lumps in it.
  • Stir the mixture continuously and when the milkmaid melts completely, keep stirring until the mixture thickens. During this, keep the flame low.

  • Now add the saffron milk and mix well. Let the mixture thicken, the mixture begins to separate from the pan when thick.
  • Add crushed cardamom and mix well. Now turn off the gas and allow the mixture to cool slightly so that you can make a peda by placing it on the palm.
  • Apply a little ghee on the palm and break a little piece of the mixture into a round smooth ball.
  • Flatten it a little by pressing it with the palm and press it with a piece of pistachio in the center.

  • Similarly, make all the mixture, your instant peda is ready, eat it after cooling it. You can store it in an airtight container and store it for about 7-8 days.

Suggestion

We have used pistachios in our recipe, you can use any other dry and fruits.

While making the dessert, keep stirring continuously and keep the flame low, otherwise, it will burn on the surface.
