Traditional Turkish Kebabs recipe

Lamb Mince 500 grams
Onion 1/2 (minced)
Olive oil 01 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 01 Tbsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder 02 tsp
Kosher salt 1½ tsp
Red chili flakes 01 tbsp
Pistachios 02 tbsp (grated)

Ketchup 02 tbsp

How to make Traditional Turkish Kebabs recipe
For the marinade
- In a large bowl add yogurt, onion, kosher salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder, red pepper flakes, ground pistachios, olive oil, ketchup, and ginger garlic paste and mix together.
- Now add the lamb mincemeat to the marinade mixture and toss well. After tossing, leave it to marinate for about 2 hours.
Turkish Kebabs recipe
- Divide the marinade mixture into 8 equal parts, take one part, and roll it into a cylindrical shape. Insert the skewer into this kebab from the middle.
- Now put a pan on the gas and heat the oil and keep the flame medium. Place a pan on it and cook it till it turns brown on all sides. When the kebabs are cooked, put them in a kitchen paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Cook all the kebabs in the same way.
- Now your Turkish kebab is ready, garnish it with curd mixture, lemon wedges, black pepper powder, and green chilies.
- Serve it hot with tomato slices, onion rings, mint leaves, lemon wedges, tomato sauce, salad.
*If you are going for the traditional Turkish Kebab recipe, then cook the kebabs on an outdoor charcoal grill.
*You can also use chicken meat instead of lamb meat in this recipe.
Suggestions
- You can use a pan, external grill, gas grill, or broiler for making kebabs. We have prepared it in a pan and in olive oil.
- You can use walnuts or other dry fruits instead of pistachios.
- If using a wooden skewer, keep in mind, soak it in water for at least 10 minutes. Or you can use a metal skewer.
