Ingredients for Milk Peda
Milk 02 packet full cream (1 liter)
Sugar 1/2 cup
Cardamom 4-5 (crushed)
Food coloring 01 pinch
Cuddapah almond (Chironji) 02tsp
Milk Powder 0 1 cup (optional)
Saffron 1/2 spoon (optional)
Pistachio, Cashew 01 teaspoon (optional)
How to make Milk Peda (Doodh peda recipe)
- First, put a large pan on the gas and add 2 packets of milk. To make high-quality pedas use full cream milk.
- When the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame to medium and keep going, otherwise, it will burn from the surface.
- Add crushed cardamom to this milk. If you want to add saffron, vanilla or other flavors, then add this time.
- There are no lumps in the mixture and stir the milk continuously to avoid burning.
- After about 1/2 hour the milk becomes thick.
- When the milk comes in the form of a thick rabri, then add sugar according to the quantity mentioned above and stir it well.
- In a short time, the sugar will dissolve in the milk mixture.
- If you like less sugar, then reduce the amount.
- When the mixture starts separating from the pan, Keep cooking it.
- When the mixture cools, give it a round shape with the help of palms and press it to form.
*If the mixture sticks to the hand, apply a little ghee in the palms.
- If you have some kind of design, then you can mold it on top. Otherwise, press a little in the middle of it with the help of finger and paste a piece of chironji, almonds, pistachios.
