Ingredients for Fried Rice Balls recipe
Rice 0 2 cups cooked
Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
Egg 01
Capsicum 01 (finely chopped)
Garlic 02 cloves (finely chopped)
Onion 01 medium size (finely chopped)
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 7, 8 seeds (crushed)
Mozzarella Cheese 1/2 cup (grated)
Green coriander 02 tbsp (finely chopped)
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
All Purpose Flour 3-4 tbsp (optional)
How to make Rice balls
- First of all, cut capsicum, green chili and green coriander and keep aside.
- To make rice ball, first take a large bowl cooked rice according to the above mentioned quantity.
- Now add finely chopped garlic, red chili powder, black pepper grated and mix well.
- Add mozzarella cheese and salt to taste and mix well.
- Add chopped capsicum, onion, and chopped coriander to it and mix.
- Now put bread crumbs and eggs in it and mix all this sugar well.
- Do not mix the cooked rice while mashing it completely, let it remain grainy.
- After mixing well make rice ball.
- For this, moisten both the palms and make balls by taking a small amount of the mixture. This will prevent the mixture from sticking to the hands.
- Now divide it into equal parts and make a medium size ball and keep it aside.
Fry rice balls
- Now heat olive oil in a pan, add 4.5 balls one by one and fry the flame on medium to high flame. Do not put too many balls, otherwise it will be difficult to avoid. When the balls turn light brown, then fry them by turning them. Place the fried balls on a tissue paper to drain off the excess oil.
- Now your fried rice balls are ready, serve hot with chili sauce, tomato sauce, or green coriander chutney.
Suggestion
- Make sure to add salt while making the rice balls.
- You can also use leftover rice in this recipe.
- If you don’t like eggs, use all purpose flour instead.
