Ingredients for Paneer Tawa Masala
Paneer 250 grams (cut into cubes)
Onion 01 (cut into pieces)
Ginger garlic paste 02 tsp
Green chilies 4, 5 (finely chopped)
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Ajwain 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder 01
Coriander powder 02 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala 1/4 tsp
Tomato puree 1/4 cup
Fresh Cream 0 1 tbsp
Curd 1/4 cup
Oil 03 tbsp
Orange food color a pinch (optional)
Lemon juice 01 tsp
Paneer Tava Masala Recipe
Marinate paneer
- First of all, cut the paneer into cubes and keep it aside.
- Combine the yogurt, ginger garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, food color, and lemon juice in a large bowl and mix well.
- Now add paneer cubes and mix slowly.
- Keep this mixture aside for about 20-25 minutes and let it rest.
Paneer Shallow Fry
- Now put oil in a pan and heat it, add marinated paneer pieces, and shallow fry till it becomes light golden. Remove the fried paneer on tissue paper and keep it aside.
- The tissue paper will absorb its excess oil.
Make gravy
- Now heat the remaining oil again, and add 1/2 tsp carom seeds and cumin seeds.
- When the cumin starts crackling, add chopped onion and fry till it becomes light brown and transparent.
- Add chopped green chilies, garlic ginger paste, coriander powder, and salt to it and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add tomato puree and stir well, cook it till the oil starts separating from the sides.
- Add fried marinated paneer pieces and fresh cream to it and mix gently.
- Now finally add 1/2 tsp garam masala and mix.
Serving method
Your paneer tava masala recipe is ready, garnish it with coriander leaves, and fried green chilies and serve hot with roti, naan, missi roti, and jeera rice.
