Paneer Manchurian Recipe

You can use Manchurian as a starter recipe or even as a light breakfast. A smooth mixture is made by mixing corn flour with water, then a paneer is coated in it, which becomes crispy and soft from the inside when fried and tastes amazing.

Ingredients:
For the Paneer:
• 200g Paneer, cut into bite-sized cubes
• 1 tbsp Corn Flour
• 1/2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
• 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
• Oil for frying
For the Gravy:
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1 Onion, sliced
• 1 Capsicum, sliced
• 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
• 1-2 Green Chilies, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
• 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
• 1 tsp Red Chili Sauce
• 1 tsp Vinegar
• 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 cup Water
• 1 tbsp Corn Flour
• Spring Onion Greens, finely chopped
How to make Paneer Manchurian Recipe
1. In a bowl, add paneer cubes, corn flour, all-purpose flour, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and black pepper powder. Mix well and make sure the paneer cubes are coated with the flour mixture.
2. Heat oil in a pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, add the paneer cubes in batches and fry until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel and keep aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced onions, capsicum, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies. Saute on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, vinegar, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well.
5. In a small bowl, mix corn flour with water until it forms a smooth mixture. Add this mixture to the pan and stir well.
6. Cook the gravy for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
7. Add the fried paneer cubes to the gravy and mix well.
8. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens.
9. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
