Wheat Flour 02 cup
Curd 1/2 cup
Gram flour 1/4 cup
Green fenugreek 1/2 cup (chopped finely)
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili 01 tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Ajwain 1/4 tsp
Salt To taste
Water as needed
Thepla Recipe
- First of all, take flour in a big bowl.
- Now add gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and mix well.
- Add carom seeds, salt, fenugreek to it and mix well.
- Add curd-1/2 cup and a little oil to this mixture and mix the whole ingredients well.
- Add water slowly to it and knead the dough. After kneading the dough, cover it with a slightly wet cotton cloth and leave it to set for about 12-15 minutes.
- To make thepla, put the griddle on the gas and heat it. Now divide the dough into small parts and make balls.
- Spread a little dust and roll it thin.
- Put some oil on a hot griddle and bake it. When the color of thepla turns slightly brown, then turn it over and cook on the other side. Keep the flame medium while baking thepla.
- Now your Gujrati Thepla is ready, take it out on a plate and serve it with pickle, green chutney, green chilli or vegetable.
